The 7 Things Every New Caribbean Business Needs in the First 90 Days

October 6, 2026

The first 90 days of a business are the most important. What you build in this period – the brand, the presence, the systems – sets the standard for everything that follows.

Most Caribbean businesses get some of this right. Very few get all of it right from the start.

Here are the seven things that matter most.

1. A name and brand that means something

Your business name and logo are the foundation of everything else. Get them right before you launch. A professional brand identity signals to every customer, before they have spoken to you, that you are worth their time and money.

2. A registered business

Operating without formal registration limits what you can do – open a business bank account, sign contracts, apply for financing. Register the business in the first 30 days.

3. A working website

Not a placeholder. Not a social media page pretending to be a website. A real, professional website with your services, your contact details, and a clear reason for customers to choose you.

4. An active Instagram and Facebook presence

Start posting before you feel ready. The accounts that grow are the ones that started early and posted consistently. Set up both pages properly – professional profile photos, complete bio, contact information – and start posting at least three times per week.

5. A Google Business Profile

Free to set up. Essential for being found. When someone searches for your type of business in your area, Google Business Profile is what determines whether you show up. Set it up in the first week.

6. Basic financial systems

A business bank account, a simple way to invoice, and a basic bookkeeping system. You do not need an accountant on day one but you need to know where every dollar is going from day one.

7. Someone to help with the things you cannot do yourself

Every business owner has strengths. Every business owner has gaps. The ones who try to do everything themselves are the ones who end up doing most things poorly. Identify the two or three things that are not your strength and get the right support in place for them early.

At Edynamics, we help Caribbean businesses get all seven of these in place – properly and quickly. Brand identity, website, social media, operations and financial support, all through one team.
